Little Red Door

An old man,

whispering in the dark,

wanders down the street

by himself.

If you graze him,

by accident or curiosity,

will receive nothing

but a charming smile.

Suddenly, an indefinite thought

gets stuck in your mind:

“the man! I must see that man,

at least once more.”

Departing for a hazardous ramble,

 embrace the curiosity

of your heart,

with no fear for the future.

And when you find him,

after a circular pilgrimage,

in his corner of shadow,

he will ask you one last question:

“Are you prepared to cross

the little red door?”

Only faith can explain

what is on the other side.
